On Tuesday, July 14 at 1 pm ET, HxA member David Harris led a Member Spotlight on heterodoxy in economics. Harris proposed a new stochastic calculus for finance and financial economics that solves many critical problems in the field, at least according to the data. He presented on the mistakes made in the past, how his work differs, and what ideas and proposals are accepted by standard economics and why heterodoxy is important in the sciences.
Please note that the presenter sought to make the concepts accessible to all, even those without a formal background in economics or mathematics. All were welcome to attend.
