Ilana Horwitz
Ilana M. Horwitz is an Assistant Professor and Fields-Rayant Chair of Jewish Studies and Sociology at Tulane University. She is the author of God, Grades, and Graduation: Religion’s Surprising Impact on Academic Success (Oxford University Press, 2022). Her scholarship has appeared or is forthcoming in leading sociology journals, including American Sociological Review and Social Science Research, and public outlets such as Washington Post, The Conversation, Inside Higher Education and Religion News Service.
