John Staddon is James B. Duke Professor of Psychology, and Professor of Biology and Neurobiology, Emeritus, at Duke University. He has done theoretical and experimental research on learning processes in animals; he has also written on scientific method, philosophy, and general issues such as higher education, financial markets, smoking and traffic control.
