Georgia State University
The Georgia State University Campus Community is a group of students, faculty and staff who are dedicated to promoting intellectual diversity and open inquiry at Georgia State University, and in higher education more broadly.
We are nonpartisan, and we come from a range of disciplines -- including history, philosophy, political science, neuroscience, and religious studies. We do not always agree about things, which is fine, because that means we have plenty to talk about!
As learners and educators, we try to be charitable, humble, constructive and respectful. Our group started coming together in the summer of 2023; we've had meetings and structured conversations (usually over meals) and we plan to host events on campus that model and promote Heterodox Academy values. Our work is valuable, and having fun. We invite thoughtful and curious members of GSU's community to join our efforts.
Do you believe in open inquiry? A group of courageous professors and students have come together on the Georgia State University campus because they believe in open inquiry, too. Will you help them? Your donation will help the HxA Campus Community at Georgia State University put on events that support the cause of open inquiry. As a supporter, you will receive invitations to HxA campus events, and updates on HxA activities on your campus and on other campuses all around the country.
