Mississippi State University

The HxA Campus Chapter at Mississippi State University promotes open inquiry, viewpoint diversity, and constructive disagreement across the university community.
The HxA Campus Chapter at Mississippi State University seeks to strengthen a campus culture of open inquiry, academic freedom, intellectual curiosity, and constructive disagreement. We aim to create opportunities for faculty, staff, and students to engage seriously with important questions, particularly those on which reasonable people may disagree. Through talks, panels, debates, and informal discussions, we hope to bring different perspectives into conversation and encourage the free exchange of ideas across disciplines and viewpoints. Our chapter is not organized around a particular political or ideological position but around the value of open discussion as an essential part of university life.
