University of Pennsylvania

The University of Pennsylvania actively promotes The HxA Way as a guiding framework for constructive disagreement and open dialogue.
Our core mission is to champion free and vigorous debate — both by example and through active advocacy. We strive to engage the general public as well as our colleagues at nearby institutions. We are committed to challenging the culture of self-censorship and the fear of cancellation from across the political spectrum, including pressures from campus leadership and current or future political administrations. Through public support, open expression, and an ongoing series of campus events, we provide a venue where diverse viewpoints can be expressed and explored.
Meet the leaders building the Penn Campus Community.
