Join Heterodox Academy for a panel discussion on the dynamic practice of co-teaching in university courses in a way that promotes viewpoint diversity.
Mary Kate Cary of the University of Virginia, Bernard Avishai of Dartmouth College, and Michael Burns of Loyola University Chicago will share their experience using this model to tackle controversial subjects and model constructive disagreement in the classroom as well as any challenges they’ve faced.
We’ll discuss the benefits of this pedagogical approach and why we don’t see more of it in today’s classrooms. Whether you're new to co-teaching or seeking to deepen your understanding, this panel promises valuable insights and actionable takeaways for educators across disciplines.
