Graduate Affiliate Event: Navigating DEI Statements

Mandatory diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) statements are increasingly common for job seekers in higher education. Many HxA graduate affiliates have shared that they’re unsure how to approach writing these statements, especially if they disagree with predominant DEI approaches or wish to incorporate viewpoint diversity into their materials.

Join HxA members Matt Burgess and Nicole Barbaro as they share insights from their professional journeys, experiences with hiring committees, and key takeaways for how to approach diversity statements. There will be plenty of time for Q&A.
