Many of the discussions at HxA do not consider the foundational causes of relevant issues and why they have arisen at this time. This symposium will consider the issue of relativism in academia. It will propose a perspective on why it may have arisen when it did and thoughts on its influence within the academy. To the extent that the thesis is considered accurate, the question to be discussed is what can be done to mitigate it’s influence.
