HxLibraries participants are invited to gather for the next HxLibraries Virtual Happy Hour on "Theorizing Wokeness: A Viewpoint-Diverse Monograph Review". Edward Remus, Associate Professor and Social Sciences Librarian at Northeastern Illinois University, will discuss key texts and arguments that are shaping the interpretation of wokeness in our time, including: John McWhorter's Woke Racism, Richard Hanania's The Origins of Woke, and Norman Finkelstein's I'll Burn That Bridge When I Get to It.
