MFSA Debate: Closing the Gender Gap in STEM
Join the MIT Free Speech Alliance for the fifth debate in their great debate series on the issue of closing the gender gap in STEM. This event is co-hosted by the student MIT Open Discourse Society and sponsored by Heterodox Academy.
RESOLVED: We must close the gender gap in STEM.
Affirmative Team: Jennifer Roecklein-Canfield Professor and Chair of Chemistry and Physics at Simmons College and Pamela R. McCauley Dean of the School of Engineering at Widener University.
Negative Team: Christina Hoff Sommers Senior Fellow Emeritus at the American Enterprise Institute and Cory Clark Behavioral Scientist at the University of Pennsylvania and Executive Director of the Adversarial Collaboration Project.
This debate will be moderated by Linda Rabieh, Senior Lecturer MIT Concourse Program and is free to attend. If you plan to join us in person, please register in advance.
