Should We Lose Faith to Save Democracy? An Atheist and a Christian Discuss the Good, the Bad, and the Ugly of Religion

The Heterodox Academy (HxA) Chapter at NYU is partnering with the Veritas Forum to host a Faculty Roundtable event on "Should we Lose Faith to Save Democracy? An Atheist and a Christian Discuss the Good, the Bad, and the Ugly of Religion. Snow Fu, Professor of Art at NYU, will moderate a discussion between Jonathan Rauch, Senior Fellow at the Brookings Institution, and Molly Worthen, Professor of History at UNC Chapel Hill.

The evening will include dinner, brief presentations by our distinguished speakers followed by thoughtful conversation across disciplines and perspectives. For this special event, we will have tables specifically reserved for faculty, staff, chaplains, and other invited guests, with a separate section of tables for students.

Due to limited dinner reservations for this event, please RSVP to Trevor Agatsuma at tha209@nyu.edu by Wednesday, October 7th.
