The Virginia Tech Chapter of Heterodox Academy (HxA) curates regular conversations called Sunday Salons on topics connected to higher education. These monthly conversations  revolve around selected readings that range in topic, focus, and viewpoints. In keeping with the general theme of HxA, most of our readings will consider divergent viewpoints on a particular topic. This year we will be going through a series of essays from a new book published by Heterodox Academy titled Viewpoint Diversity: What It Is, Why We Need It, and How to Get It (2026).
