Symposia Session with Stephen Reich - Can we Trojan Horse Our Way to Heterodoxy by Redefining EDI Terminology in Classical Liberal Terms?

I will be briefly covering the evolution of the ideology we now call Wokism, and covering definitions related to EDI as understood by Contemporary Critical Theorists. If we are going to attempt to retain the terms EDI and attempt to cast them in a liberal vein, it is necessary that we understand how those redefinitions will likely be received. I conclude by arguing that it would be better for heterodoxy to clearly disagree with EDI and the principles underlying it as incompatible with classical liberalism. Promoting substantive and meaningful equality, respect for individualism and merit may be the only way we can challenge the current EDI hegemony.
