Teaching the Capitol Riots: HxA Members Discussion Forum
The events at the Capitol on January 6 and their repercussions will inevitably play a role in classroom and campus conversations this semester and beyond. As part of our commitment to the HxA community, we provided space for our members to have informal discussions about best practices for effectively teaching and fostering meaningful conversation about these events. We hope that it was an opportunity for learning, sharing, and thinking together about our roles as educators at this moment.
We offered two discussion sessions: Thursday, January 21 at 6:30pm EST and Friday, January 22 at 4pm EST. Space for these offerings was limited to keep the conversations accessible to all attendees. Please note registration was limited to HxA members and graduate affiliates.
