Neil will talk about his new book: “I’m Not Your Token – Unapologetic Clarity in Divided Times”. Neil plans to structure the conversation around ‘Trust & Complexity: A Reciprocal Power Play’. Neil uses this as a way to contextualize the content of his book, and as the motivation for his writings. 

Neil Gonsalves is an author, TEDx Speaker, and educator. Over his thirty-year career he has been a senior manager in the corporate sector and a public educator.  Gonsalves is a 2025 Durham Community Champion Medallion Award recipient, recognized by the Canadian House of Commons for unwavering commitment and dedication to improving the community. 

In addition to his corporate and academic roles Gonsalves has also been a freelance contributor for Metroland Media and CBC News.  He is a co-founder of SG Productions, a social enterprise that supports and showcases emerging writers from diverse backgrounds, hosting a regular publication on the Substack platform. Gonsalves is proud to be a Certified Moral Courage Mentor.
