Orthodox ideologies in academia and beyond create a lack of viewpoint diversity for students both within their institutions and in their future professional settings. With graduation season upon us, this amplifies the usual conundrum of future career choices for many soon-to-be graduates. How can students address this? What can students do to promote diverse perspectives and open inquiry? Fellow undergraduates Miley Duong and Noah Ritter were joined in a brainstorming session to discuss the objectives of a heterodox institution and to conceptualize possible actions to take both inside and outside the academic realm in pursuit of those objectives.
