John Iceland is the Distinguished Professor of Sociology and Demography at Penn State University. His research and teaching interests focus on social inequality in the U.S. He is co-author of the book Why We Disagree About Inequality: Social Justice vs. Social Order with Eric Silver and Ilana Redstone.
