HxA’s virtual member book club met on Monday, December 21 at 3pm ET for a discussion on “All Minus One,” an HxA adaptation of John Stuart Mill’s “On Liberty.” This special illustrated edition brings Mill’s work to life by making it accessible and relevant to modern readers. We welcomed members from around the country and the world to come together for this opportunity to discuss this book, which makes the case for viewpoint diversity and open inquiry so well. Our hope was that book club discussions will serve as springboards for continued conversation and community-building.

Please note that attendance was open only to HxA members and affiliates. Space was intentionally limited to keep the conversation accessible and ensure that all points of view are heard. Following the discussion, HxA published a book discussion guide on our website to be accessible to all for future use.
