Virtual Book Club: “The Lies that Bind: Rethinking Identity”
HxA’s member book club wmet on Thursday, May 20 at 4pm ET for a discussion of The Lies that Bind: Rethinking Identity, by Kwame Anthony Appiah. The book explores the nature and history of the identities that define us, how identities are created by conflict, and how to rethink divisive notions of identity.
We invited our members and graduate affiliates to join us for this opportunity to analyze, question, and discuss this book. Space was limited to keep the conversation accessible and ensure that everyone can share their thoughts.
