HxA’s members book club met on Thursday, February 25 at 3pm EST for a discussion of “Unassailable Ideas: How Unwritten Rules and Social Media Shape Discourse in American Higher Education,” by HxA members Ilana Redstone and John Villasenor. The book explores “the dominant belief system on American campuses, its uncompromising enforcement through social media, and the consequences for higher education.” It then goes on to provide case studies and recommendations for how to create campuses that welcome viewpoint diversity and open inquiry.

Space was limited to keep the conversation accessible and ensure that everyone is able to share their thoughts.
