COVID and The Academy: What Have We Learned? Maja Graso, Ph.D.
Maja Graso, Ph.D., is an Assistant Professor of Psychology at the University of Groningen.
Maja is interested in questions like how people perceive such harms they cannot see, whose fears should guide social norms, and which well-meaning efforts to resolve them might lead to short-term safety but compromise long-term peace?
Together with her colleagues, Maja has been exploring the implications of these questions in various contexts, including allegations of non-physical mistreatment at work and the social divisions surrounding Covid-19. Her work has been published in Psychological Science, Organizational Behaviour and Human Decision Processes, Journal of Experimental Social Psychology, and Journal of Medical Ethics.
This talk was part of our COVID Summit Symposium held on February 23, 2024, at the Stanford Faculty Club.
