Member Spotlight with Lindsay Hoffman: Getting Students Invested in Campus Dialogue
Students can be hard to reach in normal times, much less as a global pandemic wanes. How do we get them invested in healthy campus dialogue, even as it continues to deteriorate? How do we assess if our own approaches to civil discourse and constructive disagreement are working?
In this member spotlight, Lindsay Hoffman, Associate Professor in Communication at University of Delaware, will discuss how to recruit key student audiences and measure the success of our campus initiatives. Hoffman recently concluded a campus discourse project funded by an HxA Flexible Funding Opportunity, and will share some of her best methods and practices for participants to adapt.
